Director/co-screenwriter Florence Quentin casts two icons of French cinema, Catherine Deneuve and Gérard Depardieu, in a romantic comedy, their 10th film together and first since ASTERIX in 2012. There’s still great chemistry between the two and they’re funnier than ever! Gérard (Depardieu), is fed up at being badly treated by his in-laws. He abandons everything, including his wife, to pursue his passion -- operating a car-repair in a small village 120 kms south of Paris. Directly across from his garage is a charming inn run by the magnificent Barbara (Deneuve). She’s vivacious, mysterious, disconcerting and unpredictable. Naturally, sparks soon begin to fly! Sadly, Gérard’s family track him down and a hitherto deeply-hidden family secret surfaces...
