Laelume is a New Orleans-based American band playing original music. The group's ethereal sound and mixed-meter grooves are reminiscent of the near east-meets-balkans, with modern harmonic structure and a modal improvisational style. This music is a coalescence of sonic landscapes, painting pictures of motion upon the eardrums.
The band features Ashlae Blume on keys/vocals, Moses Eder on drums, Oliver Watkinson on bass, and Cyrus Nabipoor on trumpet.
