END OF LIFE
Information on the activity
Dates to come
“In our culture, almost everyone fears death,” says one of the people nearing death who John Bruce and Pawel Wojtasik decided to film. By approaching death as closely as possible, End of Life belies that Western truism, inviting us to share the inspiring reflections of men and women who know they will soon die. The filmmakers took training in order to better accompany people nearing the end of their lives, making them conduits for their subjects’ words and presence. No doubt this is why they were able to film them with such intimacy, empathy and tact. End of Life is not at all disturbing: it gives each individual all the time they need to reveal their uniqueness – and timelessness.
