In Februrary 2005, as part of a competition launched by the Partnership, four multidisciplinary teams came together to spend a week at the Société des arts technologiques (SAT) and develop proposals for an identity concept for the Quartier des spectacles.
Today, the Partnership issues a 60-page booklet entitled « Identity concept: Developing a neighbourhood image, iconography and signage ». The booklet presents the process supervised by Marie-Josée Lacroix, director of Design Montréal, in order to increase awareness of this innovative approach.
